What are registration fees used for?
Registration fees are used for the following: uniforms (hat/shirt), referee fees, MANDATORY liability insurance and charter fees, playing equipment (practice balls, game balls, catcher's equipment, etc.), fees to remain a non-profit, fees to maintain and operate SportsEngine website and registration portal, All Star district/state tournament fees, and more.
What does my child need for practices and games?
For practices/games, your player will need a bat, glove, and helmet. They may wear cleats or tennis shoes. The league will provide a jersey and hat for games with registration. Players are responsible for pants, belt, and socks.
Will travel be required?
Travel is not required for the Tiny Tot t-ball division.
For all other divisions, travel may be required. The decision to play outside of Butler County is determined by how many players sign up for each division.
Can I request a coach/team?
Short answer, no. This is to ensure that we have a fair distribution of players. However, requests can be made for players who live in the same household. Feel free to reach out to a board member with any requests and the board will review them.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely! In fact, we encourage parents and family to volunteer for coaching, assistant coaching, dug out management, and more. Board meetings are open to everyone to attend. If you would like to volunteer, please fill out the volunteer registration listed on the registration page.
